Reading so many positive reviews we decide to book even if it felt overpriced. We were given a reality check. The positive reviews might be of people staying one or two nights and just getting in and out. This was not the case for us, with 7 nights booked, so we could see the real cycle at Villamir. Everything could have been acceptable except: 1. cleaning not done during the stay, but after (i.e. no daily beds and cleaning done); 2. most notably, late evening, the hosts switch off the emergency number they give you, i.e. if you cannot find the keys (it can happen to anyone), they do not take responsibility at all for your inability to access the room; 3. the fan held with a little rope (I am a fan of reuse, recycle, but this is taking it too far, not only dangerous for health and safety, but noisy as hell) At the beginning we thought it was overprice, but very clean (at arrival) and overall welcoming. It turned out to be far from the expectation, what we paid and hospitality standards. It is the second time in my many travels I write a negative review, but this B&B is far from standards.
