Ibis Beziers Est Mediterranee A9/A75

We arrived late and only stayed one night. The lobby area is OK but the lifts are tiny and hidden away. The room numbering system is really silly and makes no sense. The room was OK in size but I was on my own. It would be really small if there were 2 of us. It was even smaller with a round table and 2 chairs in it. The shower was really high and difficult to reach when you are short. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was reasonable with quite a lot of choices.

Perfectly located for motorway. Great food. Very friendly staff. Secure parking. Lovely swimming pool dog friendly superb breakfast. But oh dear what terribly worn out carpets - these need replacing immediately!

I have stopped at this hotel several times before and it was fine - All that could be expected from an Ibis. This time not so good. Check in was efficient and the staff were friendly. The room, though a bit dated and worn, was OK. The air conditioning was poor. Some of the the public areas looked shabby and unloved. The restaurant was very poor with a limited choice and the food poorly presented. One night the fries were like shrapnel and had to be sent back. The staff were friendly but chaotic and had to be prompted for the drinks order after nothing appeared after 20 or so minutes. I shall be looking for somewhere else on future visits to this area.

IBIS BEZIERS Accueilli et même contacté par Mathieu pour être sûr que nous ayons bien la chambre qui nous plaisait à l'hôtel car la fois précédent nous étions en rez-de-chaussée dans une chambre qui sentait le tabac et absolument pas nettoyée .merci Mathieu. Cette fois ci : Dans la chambre une petite salle de bain bien éclairée un nettoyage extrêmement léger voir photos que ce soit dans notre chambre et dans la salle de bain que ce soit au rez-de-chaussée à la réception de toilettes dernière les portes il ne faut pas nettoyer!!!!!! Ni surtout dans les angles !!!!! Tout cela montre un manque de rigueur dans le nettoyage de cet hôtel . Pour le petit-déjeuner comme d'habitude le mauvais pain du MOF pas de couteau pour pouvoir couper correctement son pain avec des tartines bien trop épaisse pour les mettre dans la bouche essayer de récupérer une part de fromage !!! quand tout est collé et pas de quoi se servir à part les pinces en bois. Pas de nettoyage des tables simplement le retrait des plateaux. Enfin comme d'habitude le minimum syndical le comble ,alors que nous sommes deux pour deux jours ,une seule boisson nous est offerte puisque seul le possesseur de la carte Gold a droit à une boisson pour ces 2 jours de séjour , cela semble tout à fait choquant. A la limite il vaut mieux ne rien faire que se conduire de cette façon vis-à-vis de ses clients fidèles avec carte GOLD. A force de réduire les prestations cela nous conduit à changer de groupe d hôtel. Malgré mes nombreuses réclamations rien ne change C’ est donc à nous de changer.

I booked this hotel because close on the highway. Nothing special, smoking room not pleasant, bathroom with old shower.

We booked this last minute following a bereavement in France. It is away from the town nearer to industrial estates so is more suited as a stop-over rather than for a holiday. Our trip was very stressful due to the circumstances especially with COVID regulations causing us travel issues. On entering our room the disappointment was the straw that broke the camel's back and my wife was reduced to tears. It had wood chip on the ceiling and all 4 walls and the room looked as though it had not been modernised since the 70's Once over this shock we accepted that it was just somewhere to stay and got on with what we needed. Reception staff were not especially cheerful and weren't especially helpful when we needed advice regarding obtaining last minute covid tests To balance this the bed was fine, the air conditioning worked nicely and the bathroom, although old, functioned ok with a basic over bath shower. There was a TV but no fridge, safe or anything else. Storage was minimal The grounds were fine with a nice pool and relaxation area and a reasonable restaurant. The bar had a small selection of beers and spirits but was ok, parking was plentiful and free. I expected road noise but this turned out not to be an issue. The hotel is clearly very tired and scruffy inside, carpets very worn, walls marked and damaged but, as stated, it served it's purpose for what we needed. just to add cleaning of the grounds and front of hotel was poor with rubbish and cigarette butts everywhere. To summarise. If you want a basic hotel for a short stop then this serves it's purpose if driving. Not a family holiday hotel and definitely needs thorough cleaning and refurbishment.

This hotel was one of 3 Ibis branded hotels on the site; the other 2 were budget Ibis. I'm not totally sure paying the extra for this over budget was worh it. The room was clean but there was no additional information in the room such as the menu. The shower was part of the bath and I felt that there should be some sort of "grab rails" to improve the feeling of safety showering/ getting in and out of the bath.

Hôtel en fin de vie... moquettes blanche et usagé, chambres limites, salle de restauration vieillissante à la propreté douteuse. Cher pour la qualité. Restaurant à fuir ; des pates chauffés au micro onde, 50% de la carte non disponible .. petit déjeuner passable avec pain congelé à l'intérieur. Bref, même pour le business je ne mettrais plus un pied ici malgré son emplacement pratique
