Irene Hotel

I stayed here for 1 week in June with my husband & 2 children aged 18 & 21. The hotel is very modern as it’s not long built. spotless clean and updated decor! Our room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels everyday also! It is a family run hotel and honestly they couldn’t do enough for you. The pool area is a little on the small size, but it caters for the size of the hotel, so was perfect for us! The hotel is situated in the heart of Tsilivi. A walk to the food/bars/restaurants is at the bottom of a small Lane within the hotel. The beach is 5 mins away from the hotel. And a beautiful beach at that!! The only down fall I would say is there is no lifts in the hotel, so if you have mobility issues there is quite a few steps to get up if your located on the 1st floor. Air conditioning is charged at €16 a day. This was def needed for our room as the temperature outside was reaching 31o some days. Well worth the money! Breakfast is a small selection of eggs, beans, toast & cheese, coffee & juices and fruit. Not a massive selection but sets you up for the day. They have a selection of other food on there menus! Can I just give a shout out to all the staff at hotel Irene especially the maid, she works very hard, as do they all!! We will definitely be back one day!!

Il suo punto di forza, la posizione!! Ho soggiornato in questa struttura per 12 giorni, come da titolo il suo punto di forza è la posizione, al centro da tutto. L’antico porto veneziano, punto nevralgico della movida e della ristorazione è a 5 minuti a piedi, le spiagge a 5/10 minuti a piedi, supermarket a 2 minuti a piedi. Tutto è vicino ma sotto l’hotel non c’è il ****** del centro, direi perfetto!! Veniamo ai lati negativi… stanze piccoline arredate in modo spartano, bagno vecchio piccolo con doccia scomoda e senza bidè! In compenso, aria condizionata molto efficiente, frigo con piccolo freezer e balconcino vista mare. Pulizia efficiente e puntuale. Materassi comodi e king-size, cuscini meno comodi. Personale molto gentile sorridente e a disposizione. Colazione molto monotona e poco ricca. Parcheggio auto a 3 minuti a piedi.

Nous avons été très bien accueillies par les deux réceptionnistes de l'hôtel, qui nous ont donné plein de bons conseils pour visiter La Canée et ses environs. En ce qui concerne les chambres, elles étaient spacieuses, propres et disposaient d'une clim ( bien utile en juin ! ). Le petit-déjeuner était très varié : chacun pouvait trouver son bonheur ! Je recommande vivement cet hôtel car il est aussi à moins de cinq minutes du centre.
