Americas Best Value Inn and Suites College Station

We loved this spot and plan on coming back. We were doing a spontaneous visit to College Station and found this spot when looking for a hotel for the night. It’s a whole vibe and they put so much thought into all the details. We can’t wait to come back when it’s warmer to enjoy the courtyard area!

The property was very unique with local artists work in the room. This hotel is great for people with a family as there is a courtyard with lots of game options. I also liked that the doors used a code versus having to keep up with a key. Overall great experience and the staff were very friendly.

This hotel is very well kept, super clean. The vibes are so modern & artistic. The staff are marvelous. They have a variety of options to play outside games & a small arcade. We loved it so much, definitely going back on a weekend tho to catch the live music & events they typically have. I do wish there was a light bulb rugby in the middle of the room & more breakfast options. But other than that, it was a super pleasant & fun stay. 10/10 recommend.

The rooms are super unique, we didn't really have time to explore the property or all the amenities but i will be back again to enjoy all that there is to do and see.

I was disappointed in the customer service of this place, beautiful hotel, clean, however they did not treat me well that this facility. I don't know if it was because of my ethnicity or because I am a women that the white male manager thinks that it is ok to belittle me or think that I am incompetent but it's not ok. because like every customer that goes there I was paying my hard money to visit there. I am a single mom that travels alone with her child and security it the most important to me and for him to not take it serious or talk to me as if I dumb enough to share my password to others obviously I would be not be going to the office if I shared my password!!!!!!!! but during our stay me and my daughter was asleep when someone tried to come into our hotel. if it was not for me putting the extra locks on the door then whoever that person was would have enter our room. I went to the office because I was concerned for my safety and asked if I would change my password, they were not taking accountability or responsibility or i did not even an apology for this. They refused to change my pin (which is crazy) and the manager come to me and it was the cleaning person and he confirmed it with the cleaning person. In their welcome packet it says that no one would ever come into the room during our stay. and there was someone to come in and the situation was handled poorly and the manager did not care.

We loved that the hotel was kids friendly starting with the lobby! in the room we found colored pencils, a chalkboard on the back door, a lightbright game, cubiks and the TV was about 80 or 85” The kids never got bored inside the room! There also so many activities for the kids to do outside in the courtyard, they had swings, a floor chessboard, bicycles and many other things. We got a room with 2 king size beds and the matresses were super confortable and each bed had 4 king size pillows, the room was really clean. The staff was friendly and overall the whole property was kept clean.

When looking for a place to stay for our trip to Santa’s Wonderland, I came across Hotel McCoy. Not being a huge hotel brand, I was skeptical to book at first. Once I read the previous reviews I booked us a room ( so happy I did ). This hotel is seriously the CUTEST and cleanest hotel we have stayed in. Not to mention is was close to everything we wanted to do. The room had 2 king size beds, which was a plus because most hotels are queen! The atmosphere was great and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again.

1st impression was not good but after getting inside we quickly changed our opinion. Clean, great service, lots of games, nice pool.

Love this hotel! It is a renovation of an old motor lodge type hotel and everything is so well done. Bathrooms are small and brds are big, perfect ratio for me and my family! Too cold to swim this trip, but the pool area looked so fun! Pickle ball court, lawn chess, and other outdoor activities... the art around the property is fun and well done!! Such a clever renovation! All staff encountered were pleasant and helpful. I'll be back!
