I booked 2,5 weeks in advance. I arrived tonight after 14 hours of jeep from faranah, with only 4 bananas in the stomach and very very tired....and the hotel was closed !!! Two guys at the entrance sent me aways without offering any solution and I wondered for a couple of hours in conakry during the night to find a place to sleep. Very disappointed. Not professional at all!

I stayed for a week whilst on a business trip. The Hotel Rooms are clean and the wifi worked very well. The staff were all following Covid 19 mitigation procedures. I have seen that the hotel staff go out of their way to make you feel very welcome. The food was excellent. I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Conakry Guinea.

It is 100% guaranteed that you will catch COVID-19 at the Sheraton Grand Conakry. Today (first of August), employees are wearing their face mask on the chin (hey, why not on their head whilst at it), including at the restaurant, which features a buffet where guests and waiters are helping themselves with same spoons are service utensils (a real COVID-19 trap). Gel is nowhere to be found (bring your own). Long story short… it is bad! I also stayed here last December and got sick a few days later. Well, sick is not the right word… When the paramedic arrived, they literally saved my life! The oxygen in my blood was at 80%; I was dying! I was hospitalised and I am now OK (but literally traumatised). Now, to be fair, I am not sure I got COVID at the Sheraton or on my Air France flight, but if I had to bet, I would put my money on the Sheraton. One last thing. This morning, I told an employee to put her face mask (was on the chin), and said, “NO”!. I went to the front desk to complain. Once there, I looked at the clerk right in the face and finally just told him to put his face mask on and walked away exasperated. This place is a f***g disaster.

A great business hotel, it was my second visit, breathtaking views if the great Atlantic Ocean. Conveniently located, safe environment, clean and staff r wonderful. Access to the restaurants, the meeting areas are great. Food also good. Nice environment n recommended for business.

Hôtel affreux et potentiellement dangereux pour la santé. Pour avoir séjourné en fin d’année 2021, je me demandai comment la direction de cet hôtel pouvait avoir dégradé aussi vite cet établissement. On m’a dit qu’il était ouvert depuis 2011. J’ai trouvé dans ma chambre de la moisissure partout, sur les murs, la literie. L’air dans la salle de bain était irrespirable.J’ai toussé toute la nuit… Effectivement, j’ai bien compris pourquoi 1 mois après mon séjour l’état guinéen a retiré à cet hôtel le permis d’exploiter. Sur plus de 200 seulement 35 étaient aux normes…

Catastrophique Alors, je passe sur le fait que les gestes barrières, notamment l’utilisation des masques n’est absolument pas respectée, mais si les infrastructures et la qualité de la restauration sont superbes, le service est simplement calamiteux. C’est une véritable honte pour un Sheraton ! Anecdote : commande d’un premier vin, y’en a pas, vous ne voulez pas du Bordeaux Fonfroide?, non merci Commande du deuxième vin, y’en a pas, vous ne voulez pas du Bordeaux Fonfroide? Commande du troisième vin, vous ne voulez pas du Bordeaux Fonfroide? Commande du 4 vin, par dépit je commande un vin d’afsud. Y’en a pas on m’apporte du vin US🤣🤣🤣 Cela pourrait être amusant si tout ceci ne s’était pas passé sur le même repas Finalement on a pris du Fontfroide mais au dessert 🤣 Et tout est comme ça pour tout! Le service est minable Et pour finir en beauté, au moment du payement, une manipulation douteuse est faite avec ma visa, sans mon accord!!! Évidemment, l’hôtel va me répondre qu’ils s’excusent, que ce n’est pas de leur faute etc… Mais le principe de l’excuse n’autorise rien. Donc non, je ne vous excuse pas. C’est déplorable.
