Voulez-Vous

Located in Dikwella with your own private beach which was clean with no crowds. Was great to get away from the busy Hiritekiya, only a 1km walk, or a short Tuk-Tuk ride away. staff were super friendly and helpful and the hotel provided good co-working areas for people working remotely, yoga sessions in the morning for a small donation, beach volleyball In the evenings, as well as providing comfy sunbeds free of charge, and lots of sporting equipment to use at your leisure. We made use of the blow up there’s, the boogie boards, the snorkelling equipment, cricket sets…… you name it, they provided it without a fee. Their restaurant was understandably closed over the Sinhalese New Year, giving their staff a much earned rest with their families. They organised bike hire for us for our stay at reasonable fees. The rooms were excellent with mosquito nets and good air-conditioning and fans. The bathrooms were clean although we never had a hot shower (that’s fairly standard for Sri Lanka) and there was not any water for an afternoon but this was not a fault of Voulez-Vous. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here and it’s great value for money.

Good location, the volunteers who work there were lovely. There was no hot water until we complained several times, the mattress was hands down the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on.

I spent one week in this hotel and I couldn't leave. the staff is mostly french but speak english very well. They're very friendly and helpful beacause they know the area very well. The place is really clean and ideally located on the dickwella beach which is one of the most beautiful beach of sri lanka. I warmly recommend to stop by if you decide to visit the south of sri lanka

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were so friendly, the place was neat, tidy and super cute. It was right on the beach and next to the Swing Cafe which looked quite good (we didn’t eat here though). A short walk (10-15 mins) to get to Hiriketiya beach (it is uphill though!). Overall, very happy with our stay - would highly recommend!

We stayed for 5 nights and it’s a lovely place to relax. The rooms are clean, spacious and have mosquito nets, the showers have hot water and are decorated beautifully. The three owners are very friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty and not overpriced. Highly recommended

Wow. What an incredible place. I booked for 5 days and stayed for 3 weeks. It’s a beautiful spot literally on the beach. They have a coworking space with blazing fast fibre optic internet perfect for digital nomads. They have the best coffee in Sri Lanka, incredible breakfast a really really cool vibe. They have tons of games, a volleyball court and only a 5 minute walk to Hirikitiya But what really made this place special were the staff. I really felt like family there. Each person contributed to the vibe and the feeling in their own unique way and I think I haven’t felt so at home and so happy in many years. I can’t recommend voulez vous enough. It’s the perfect place on a paradise beach, run by the most down to earth, kind hearted people. I will remember this place forever. 🙏

We received a very warm welcome at Voulez Vous. The very friendly staff were always ready to help. The place is in a great location. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay, were able to work from the co-working space, and we are expecting to be back soon!

If you are looking for a quiet but chilled out joint for a staycation when you are at Dickwella;this is your go to hotel. Their food is curated to satisfy our taste buds and delicious. Good spot for sun downers with a vivid scenic sunset from the dickwella beach. Also it’s only walking distance to the popular joints for food and beverages🥂 : Smoke n Bitters, Verse Collective, blue bay chillout lounge and to the hiriketiya beach if you are a surfer 🏄‍♂️

We enjoyed our visit here, this place had a Boho style and vibe. Good hot shower and a free water machine to use as the hotel was plastic free they provided a plastic bottle to refill. Rooms were painted uniquely and with style. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was available at a place joining them and was also good. There was strong waves in the sea and we enjoyed body boarding which the hotel kindly let us use, the waves can be too rough to swim at times. The beach is lovely for a walk along. Beautiful sunsets here and plenty of hot weather, evenings were cooler slightly to eat at the restaurant on the beach with the cute lighting they had. The room had Aircon and a fan included in the price. Mozzy next over the bed which was needed as down at the beach the mozzies were so bad, comfy bed, no view or balcony from our room. But on the beach practically and nice garden areas and hammocks so close to the room. Good working area and lots of plugs. Little work out area and good coffee. This hotel had a slight hostel feel to it, relaxed a**osphere and many young people that were traveling used it. Thank you for a nice stay.
