******* shows the property as budget oriented and pet friendly. It was the only room available in our $100 price range Saturday night after a long drive so we booked it online. Not until we arrived were we told there would be a $20 pet fee per pet (we have 2 dogs) per the manager a fee that was clear in the ******* listing. It wasn’t. Then we were told that there was a $50 refundable room deposit, refundable in a few days if your room was judged as acceptable when you left, clearly written in the listing. It wasn’t. We opted to keep our dogs in the car and go out to give them a 6:30 am walk, and to put up the $50 deposit in cash, meaning housekeeping had to approve our room before we check out and got our $50 cash back. Not the best way to check in while exhausted after a long drive.
