Sunshine Resort

Sunshine resort is budget accommodation, we stayed in the basic room but it had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, it was clean, there was a fridge, safe, kettle, air conditioning, TV and hairdryer. We stayed for a week but it seems mostly to used as a short stay. As I said it is budget and we paid budget prices but it was good value for money. It needs a little bit of a paint job in parts and it is up a steep hill but I am 60 and I managed it 2 or 3 times a day and it is well worth it when you see the spectacular views of the bay from your room.

Fist time to kephalonia for the soul festival a beautiful place and. Climate the views from our apartment are fantastic the room is small but the bed is comfortable however the hill is steep and a car is essential in my opinion I have mobility issues so the 50 steps up to our apartment is a problem for me but I still give a good review as when I sit on the balcony looking out it’s just so beautiful and peaceful the rooms are basic but clean and the staff are easy to contact on the phone and are very helpfull very good value as the rate is so good

Rooms are standard, but very clean and great value, everything you need for a few days, but the view is 5 star at sunset, Nick our host, greeted us at the door when we arrived at 1am, he went beyond his job description,a very helpful gentlemen, he gave us his number to text on what’s app, which was very helpful if we had any issues, he gave us some great breakfast and brunch recommendations and information on the ticket office to catch the ferry to zante, appreciate the help Nick, top man, A lot of furry little friends (cats) that are very sweet to keep you company. People talk about the hill etc, with a car it is no problem, it is a nice walk up and down, a tiny little hill for less than 50 metres, Hotel is located very close to martis Galos beach, such a beautiful beach.
