Kincardine Guest Cottages

We stayed for one night in one of the larger cottages here, and its condition was terrible. The place should signs of not being properly cleaned, and smelled accordingly. A rancid throw blanket on the partly-destroyed pull-out couch had to be sealed in a bin to reduce a rotten smell... the bathroom floor was sloped and becoming structurally detached from the main structure. The proprietor charged us extra for linens, but these were also not really clean. We paid 246 dollars, and it was definitely worth nowhere near this. I wanted to leave but we stuck it out. If the property hasn't improved, beware; it needs a lot of work and likely could use an inspection from local authorities.
