We stayed here one night before heading up further in NH. Like most motels now-a-days, it could use a bit of updating, but it was very clean and well kept. You cant beat the view of the lake in the morning and the blackout shades were a huge help with that bright sunrise. Check in and out were easy and the front desk staff were very sweet

Perhaps the cottages were clean and updated, but the motel where we stayed was shabby, with pealing wood on the exterior door, a bath venting option which was a louvered window you had to climb on the counter to open, and stained carpet. However, the bedding and towels were excellent. The staff was very helpful as we arrived very late, but the directions were easy to follow and we had no problem checking in. If you're looking for a place to crash for the night, the price is right - just wear your shoes on the carpet areas and you'll feel comfortable.

Amazing view of the lake, possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on (far exceeding some of the 4 star hotels I've stayed at)!

My and my fiance have stayed here for years. Unfortunately, the spider situation is out of control. On my last stay I spoke with the supervisor and manager about spraying the porch due to the spider infestation. I was told it would to taken care of in my current stay. This did not happen. Large spiders were now in the hotel.
Too bad. My fiance and I were planning on staying 6 nights 2x a year for 2023. The place is outdated but the staff is friendly and the lake view is beautiful. Unfortunately, our concerns were not important enough to keep our business.
Too bad. We will not be returning again.
