Beautiful hotel. Close to sights. Cozy. Need to put lights on in hallway or dark. Delicious breakfast. Everyone friendly. Front desk spoke English. Comfortable lobby to sit enjoy a coffee. Room was very comfortable and hot water for showers. Everything was immaculate.

Stayed here for only a couple of nights for business but it was an absolutely flawless experience. The rooms are basic but rather large and with comfortable beds. The full board for our large group really couldn’t be faulted, the food was always fresh, very tasty and plentiful. But the best part was the absolutely lovely staff, including the hotel’s owners, they went out of their way to ensure that everyone had a great stay. It is about a ten minute drive from downtown Maribor but definitely worth to consider if going there by car.

This Hotel defines a new standard of Service mentality. Family owned operated with a huge heart and always a smile on the face nothing is impossible. Enriched breakfast which is enhanced with personal features on request. A/C rooms are clean and on a good standard. I have enjoyed a long time stay. Working from room with high speed inet trouble free. I can give a true recommendation.

The hotel is comfortable inside. They dont clean the rooms but beside that the overall cleanness of the hotel is good. Our team is from Bulgaria and they didn't let us use the bar section but for other customers it was allowed. They didn't let me go to the dining room with bag because i was accused that I will steal food for my room. Good thing i noticed people are smiling and the let me use the garage for my bike. I wish them to become little more open to all kind of people from around the world.

I stayed at Hotel Bau in Maribor on a business trip for a month. Nice breakfast, but only served from 07:30-8:30. Treatment for Germans and Austrians guest looks different, tablecloths on their tables, but not on ours, so if you are German, no need to worry about that. Spacious rooms, but cleaned only once per week. A team driver that worked for us wasn't allowed to use the hotel toilet. In the end of my stay during heavy storm I run out to cover an very expensive equipment, which was on the parking on the back side of the hotel. I used so called "private entrance" which is no different than the main one. The result of my action ended by punishment from the lady which locked me outside. After 10 minutes an lady from the reception use the same private entrance to give me an umbrella and instruct me to walk around the hotel bro use the main entrance. I traveled 4 continents, numerous countries, I work in the tourist sector, I never saw such a lousy service.
