I was here for work, so for the money it wasn’t bad, nice pools, very nice beach area, breakfast at resort was good, great view from the room, only complaint was lack of dining options in the immediate area , as I didn’t have a car, highly recommend the twisted Lime, great outdoor seating, even saw a large shark in the water.

Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to check out any of the amenities that were available to us for the one night we were there.
We checked in late and left early.
Our room badly needed a renovation including a light switch by the door, without having to stumble over to the opposite side of room, a better TV and WiFi, Also we kept hitting the edge of the uneven tile floor by the bathroom door. Painful! But the front desk staff was so cheerful and conscientious at check-in. She arranged a taxi to arrive exactly when we needed to depart.

Many great staff members who go the extra mile- more staff needed to make experience even better. I visited during holiday time, so this may need to be taken into account. Many snack items on menu were not avail.
Area needs more dining options, resort only has breakfast available. Some casual eateries near marine- but would benefit with more options.
Overall, relaxed and pleasant experience with a “non- commercial” vibe to resort- ocean & pool avail. Grounds of resort need some updating/TLC bht was overall happy with staying at Sandyport.

We really liked the resort! Great environment with two different beaches, a lot of hammocks and sunbeds everywhere. Very romantic but also family friendly. Sandyport is a very quiet area and it’s nice for relaxation with only a few restaurants. Close walk to a supermarket (ca 10 min) and it’s ok equipment to cook simple food. Would really recommend this resort for a romantic, quiet and relaxed stay.

Several things were a disappointment: 1. We found food left in mini fridge from previous guest.
2. Dead bolt on room door was inoperable. Maintenance finally repaired it the next day.
3. Unable to make a local phone call, maintenance never showed up to room to address the issues. The front desk kept saying the person I was calling had no minutes on his phone. I only dialed 9 then 242 and then instanly a busy signal, how would the phone know at this point who I was calling? Smh
4. Wifi was down in the room. I understand the weather was a factor, but wifi was operable in the lobby but not in guest's rooms. The lobby was a long walking distance from room during in inclement weather.
5. The front desk promised a small refund for all the inconveniences, but as of late have not received it.

Sandyport Beach Resort was a major disappointment. This place is not what is advertised. It’s incredibly overpriced given the quality of the rooms and facilities. The rooms are very outdated, like from the 1970’s, but not the cool 1970’s, rather the dirty, falling apart era. They also add huge fees, which balloon the nightly rate. $90 for an extra child with a family of four?! And then the bed isn’t even made with sheets, blankets. Sandyport Resort is the worst place we have ever stayed. They may have stole my money this trip, but I will never return. Serve this as a warning to others. And shame on ******* for supporting them. I feel used by both companies.
