Holiday Inn Niagara Falls-Scenic Downtown, an IHG Hotel

If this app allowed, I would have rated them 0 star. Arrived to this hotel after a long day of driving from New York City expecting to relax, but all I got was a dirty room with dust built up on the table. I was like, okay I'll just tell them to send housekeeping next thing in the morning. It was an uncomfortable night as I had a history of asthma and am allergic to dust. Not to mention the restroom, it was a nightmare... water didn't go down the drain, which caused a build up in soap residue on the bathtub; my daughter fell down and knocked her head. Moreover, the bed sheets didn't seem to be clean as it smelled like sweat, and had some sort of stains I couldn't make out what it was. Next morning told front desk about the condition of the room and how I have asthma, she apologized and ensured me that the room will be deep cleaned. Fast forward night time, went in the room, still not cleaned! At this point I was upset that they didn't care about their customer's medical condition enough to clean the room. Went back down to front desk, and asked them to clean it, to which they replied "at this time of the night, no crew is available to clean rooms" - alright fine, I understand that much, so I asked "What can you do for me to remedy this situation?", they then replied: "there's nothing we can do since we are fully booked, but we can offer a free breakfast?" Wow, can you believe that? A FREE BREAKFAST, WHAT A GREAT DEAL. TO RISK SUFFERING ANOTHER ASTHMA ATTACK, I WILL BE REWARDED A FREE BREAKFAST. At this point I didn't feel like arguing anymore and just left to book a room at fairfield inn, which btw has a much better room and great customer service. tldr: avoid this terrible place.

Although no breakfast provided, but I really appreciated the 24hours complimentary coffee, tea and hot water at the lobby. Definitely recommend this place if you wish for a cozy nights at Niagara Falls, strategic location and comfortable hotel. Niagara park is just a few steps away!

Location is good just 3 minute ride to Niagara Falls State Park, room is wide. Over all we have a great stay and they allowed us to extend 1 hour since we checked in late. Will recommend this hotel to my friends.

Good location! It's walking distance to Niagara Falls State Park about 6 min. The room was big enough, a little outdated room but the bed was great and comfortable. It's perfect place if you are looking for an affordable room just for sleep. Generally, hotels in NY side of Niagara Falls are outdated to compare to Canadian side. I am satisfied with this stay!

I booked a hotel by mistake on USA side and when I try to negotiate they are unable to do that even though making them clear before the check in time. They don’t care about guest they are just after Money

The hotel swimming pool was not functional. There was no water in the room. Had to pay for parking even though I was a guest in the hotel. Expected better from Holiday Inn but the quality and service has degraded a lot.

I've stayed twice now at this hotel. Service was great both times, the room is large and well-equipped but the beds are quite soft. There's a coffee machine, mini fridge, and a microwave in the room. The bathroom is quite small and is the part that lets the room down

Very nice hotel, reasonably priced. The front desk staff was especially helpful in directing us to nearby attractions.
