Mystic Ridge Resort

Very good place to stay in Ocho Rios A lot of the Food spots are on your doorstep. The apar**ent we stayed in was very clean. Only downside is if you are not Driving there’s a very steep hill to get up to your apar**ent. Then we have to walk up two flights of stairs as our apar**ent was on the second floor. The people at Mystic Ridge were very welcoming and helped us with our luggage for a small tip.

This resort is one of the worst resort that I've ever been. We went there as a family to celebrate our mom birthday cockroaches was all over my room,bees was all over my mom room their was no spread nor blanket an the bed the rooms were very dusty the only good thing about the hotel was the guys that was at the bar the securities was so rude shining light on us in the pool telling us to get out as if we didn't spend our money to enjoy ourselves

It just didn’t feel like a resort. The bar was closed and dirty. It look like it was abandoned. On the property their is two sections. One area people are renting and the other side people are on vacation. I wouldn’t do it again.

Chose Charmaine’s apar**ent -you will not be disappointed. Mystic Ridge Paradise - own by Charmaine My stay at this apar**ent was share joy, although there were some minor mishaps, Charmaine got this sorted instantaneously. The apar**ent was clean, with modern amenities. Location was great, walking distance from ocho Rios. House keeper -Grace was very pleasant. I highly recommend staying at Charmaine' place in mystic ridge. Charmaine is an efficient host, she puts her customers first, and would move heaven and earth to ensure her guests are comfortable. Would most definitely stay here again and again. You will not be disappointed. Choose Charmine place. December2022 -January 2023

I enjoyed my stay here , beautiful place to take pictures also. It made you feel at home with the kitchen and all the utensils they provided, you only needed to bring food supply. It was all worth it for me. I had heavy luggage but they had such helpful workers who assisted me with my bags. And I am so grateful because that was a struggle🤣. The minor issues I had they resolved in little to no time. So I would 100/10 recommend this place for your visit. And they were so sweet and funny too, cracking jokes, I enjoyed it. I would stay here again if I ever went back to Ocho Rios.

The room was not as shown on there website. The room was dirty. The room had wasps nests outside so couldn't open the windows as I was scared of getting stung. The floor tiles were chipped and the grout was dirty it should have been white but was brown. The throw on the bed was ripped. The fridge door was broken. The chairs were ripped, dirty and rusty so couldn't be used. The WiFi was down for 4 days out of 7. The wash basin had dirty water and mould on it. The basin tap had nothing but water marks. So not sure when it was last cleaned properly. The bath was dirty, the tap and shower had limescale. The soap dish had rust and mould. The phone was broken. There were no hangers to hang clothes on. The mirror was broken and just left standing in the dirty water, with exposed nails in the wall. It feel like the pictures were fabricated as the room was old dingy and dirty and not the same as the pictures displayed. The would outside of the building is peeling and requires repainting. The hotel is on a very steep hill and not suitable for ppl with mobility problems, the elderly and definitely not wheelchair users which is not noted on the *********** website. I had to request my sheets be changed as they hadn't been done in 5 days. I tried to get a refund after 1 day as it was so dirty but they refused to reimburse me. In the end I stayed somewhere else. . I would not recommend this hotel at all to anyone to stay at due to its present state. Its a 2 star at best and I feel I'm being generous.

So i booked a room (Mystic Ridge Home of the sun) and i got an email today stating that the price i booked it for was incorrect. I booked the room for $20 per night and was told the price should have been $100. In my history of booking i have never seen anything like this. I went on to advise that this is not my fault and i already made reservations at surrounding this one. They did not care and my reservation was cancelled without my consent and while i was on the phone with the customer care agent. they went on to say they are already booked out and they cannot accommodate me.

I mean the place needs a lot of renovation,the housekeepers can do a way better job at cleaning the rooms as an housekeeper I was so skeptical about the place I was uncomfortable my entire stay I was scratching all the time it was just not clean ..the sheets had ugly stains in them thank god I traveled with my own bed linens and Terri linen ….I tried making the bed the second morning I was there and the matrass we were on was a disgrace like u guys need to change out some of the things you have in these rooms I was afraid to walk on the floor barefooted ….I wouldn’t even talk about the tv and the ac because they just don’t work waste of time even try with them .oh and the ceiling was falling apart overall was not a good stay you guys can do better ….most importantly get better management for the housekeepers their work is very lousy

Went with my son to a funeral I paid $2500 for this trip with jetblue vacation I was given a room at the back of the property in the attic the room was dirty and there was a big black ratbat on the floor. They transfer me to another room where nothing worked. I was offered another room at Turtle towers it was the dirtiest place I have seen 1st night I actually slept there my whole body itches. Called jetblue vacation i was told by Richard that that is what i paid for i checkout and they don't want to refund my money. these people don't care about you as a guest all the want it your hard earn money!!!!!!!
