No hot water which was a known issue and they did not educate this prior to check in. Cracked mirror, ripped up carpet and stains on the bed.

The person at the front desk couldn't find my reservation it took 20 minutes to get it right. And the rooms (we had 2 rooms) one looked like someone spray painted something on the floor and the rest of the room was still a bit dirty, hair on the sink, beds, and the carpet was so dirty and nasty. Second room was the same except the bathroom tub Faucet would not shut off so it kept running. I told the front desk and said someone was coming to fix it, nobody came. We decided to leave around 11pm. Just couldn't stay there.

Saw a bug in room. Only one ice machine worked in whole hotel. Hot water got very weak during shower.

Convenient location for Universal. If you choose to not use your own car there's a city bus stop about 100 yards away, the schedule is online at goLynx.
Their 'on site' free shuttle to Universal and other parks doesn't exist. There is a shuttle that stops at a nearby property once in the morning returning once in the evening. If you think you want to use it, you need to ask where it picks up. It IS NOT on their property.
Continental breakfast is fairly good, if you like turkey sausage you're in for a treat.
HEAT in room didn't work, but the temperature in the building was close enough, we were a bit cool, but survivable. So we didn't mention it. Room was clean, someone came everyday to change towels. No option for 'do not disturb' which I usually do because I don't like people in the room when I'm not there.
Staff is extremely helpful. Nice people.
Overall, 8 or 9.

Like how close is for shops, restaurants and entertainment.
Needs to be updated and from the lobby all the way to to rooms and showers.
Hallways smell like ****, a few times my room smell like mold, and or had lil ant pop out on the sink.

The worst experience ever. We found roaches, the room doesn’t smell good. Not hot water. Breakfast wasn’t good and was cold. And they charge an extra fee. (Hotel Fee)
