The accommodation was amazing. First class. The pool was delightfully refreshing and sparkling. We did not have breakfast but seeing what other guests were enjoying it’ll be a definite next time. Our hosts were friendly and professional. Conveniently situated.

Great welcome from Sonja and Daniel to this lovely B & B. Very helpful advice provided regarding Swartberg Pass + adjacent restaurants. Room very comfortable and stylish. Tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. Thoroughly recommend. All in all - a great stay.

A very safe area in the town with many restaurants within walking distance. Secure parking & a lovely garden with a pool. Fabulous breakfasts. Guidance to make the very most from Oudtshoorn & surroundings. Surprisingly & most importantly, without the host Daniel’s detailed advice, we would’ve missed so much that made a simple overnight stop into what turned out to be an epic experience and wonderful memory of our South African holiday. Thank you Daniel & Sonja. We loved staying at your place and will definitely return if/when we visit SA again.

We had a lovely stay here as a stop on our safari and garden route tour with Hotspots2C. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, the setting beautiful and the room cool and spacious. We had a lovely sleep and enjoyed a bit of pool time too. Breekfast was also lovely- homemade bread was a highlight.

Everything was excellent, and the hosts were very friendly. The breakfast reminded me of my Nanna's house. I would say it was value for money, and also the fact that we booked at short notice. I would recommend it to anyone. The location is also very convenient withe easy access.

Daniel and Sonja are excellent hosts managing a very romantic, colonial style Hotel. Both read every wish from your lips literally and make you feel welcome and at home. The breakfast is home made and outstanding. Overall best value that money can buy! We will come again! :-)

Old world charm at its best. A beautiful property in a great location for accessing the facilities local in town and the vast countryside and beautiful surroundings. We really appreciated Sonja and Daniel's wonderful warm hospitality and their advice on exploring the local area was perfect. Their oasis like garden is the perfect place to relax. And special mention to Sonja's home made plum jam which topped off our lovely breakfasts! This really is a home from home in the most amazing centuries old house.

I was taken back in time by staying at Oakdene Guesthouse, very very centrally located in Oudtshoorn. The wonderful hosts, Sonia and Daniel and their friendly staff made my stay most enjoyable. My room was beautifully spacious and had all the amenities that I needed. Breakfasts were delicious. The pool area looked lovely although I didn't use it. Most definitely a place where I would like to return to and highly recommended.

A very enjoyable stay. The furnishings in keeping with the age with a reminder of the ostrich palace homes. Very attentive owners and a super breakfast. The garden is tranquil and attractive with an inviting pool setting.
