Tasman Holiday Parks – Picton

Great location near picton port . We Book a standard cabin . No kitchen or bathroom . Just a cabin with a bed . Just check twice before booking cause its not clear in description and pictures of the room are not good one. By the way common kitchen and shared bathroom was very clean. Staff nice also.

Second stay in this holiday park - helpful friendly team. Very well looked after facilities and easy to access. Perfect for short stay. Walk to local restaurants. Be aware people move in and out of sites to meet ferry bookings but didn't bother us at all.

We had a Studio apartment with ensuite and own cooking facilities. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. There was no microwave in the room which was very small with a table and 2 chairs outside on the balcony. We were close to the office and disturbed by guests arriving past 10pm and talking loudly. I was able to use the microwave in the shared kitchen. We did not think it was good value for the money when compared to other places we stayed at. However we were well located to catch the early morning ferry across to Wellington which was a priority. Next time I wd stay a little further out and catch a later ferry. We got much better value accommodation in Wellington.

Picton Top 10 Holiday Park was very clean and comfortable, with really friendly and caring hosts. The location is perfect for those wishing to walk to the main part of town. The amenities were clean and close by, and having the pool and playground for the kids was fantastic!

A welcome resting place after 2 days of challenging travel conditions. We had a Twin Studio Motel for myself and my daughter which was very comfortable for our 1 night stay. The unit was set behind bushes so that even though the park was busy we had our privacy. The unit was small but everything worked perfectly and we both had a much needed good night's sleep. My only reservation is that it is a 15 minutes walk from the ferry terminal which is tiring with luggage as there is no taxi service. However this is no problem if you are ok with this or have a vehicle.

I recently stayed at Tasman Holiday Park, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff, especially the last person at the reception, was incredibly lovely and welcoming. The park's facilities were well-maintained, the atmosphere was delightful, and overall, it made for a memorable holiday. Highly recommend!

Visited Oct 2023 with 6 birth RV using a hard "Sealed" powered site. First off, this was probably the best site we stayed in over 15 days touring the whole of the South Island. It is immaculate, the facilities are perfect and the staff are very friendly. We used the laundry facilities and again, they were brilliant. Pricing is on par with other camps nowhere near as nice as this. Location is perfect and it's a short walk across the main road and around the marina into town where there are numerous bars, supermarkets and of course the boat tours to Marlborough sounds / bike hire / kayak tours etc. It felt safe at all times and we only wish we could have spared another night there. Thanks to the team at Tasman HP Picton for their efforts in maintaining such standards.

Pretty little and cozy holiday park. The receptionists were really nice and helpfull. We loved the bbq area and the athmosphere of the whole park. Lots of facillities (pool, game rome, hot tub,…) and all clean. Our favorite campsite in all New Zealand
