We rented junior suite with ocean view. Ocean view was the only good thing, this was not a suite, just a regular room with a view branded as a suite. Old, barely working tv and fridge, AC was working but couldn't keep the room cool, very noisy location, with music and karaoke, windows and balcony door with gaps and don't block any noise. There were no toiletries in the room, bathroom door is with glass and huge holes , leaving zero privacy. No blinds - 5:30 am sun will wake you up. Hard to park in very small garage, where people block you car.

Had to find a place to stay while the wife was in the hospital. The hospital area wasn’t great. I found this a great price, 10 min taxi ride and across from the ocean. I got there about 1am, the young man at the desk was very friendly and did his job well. At 1am it looked like this hotel could go eiter way, but I was pleasantly surprised. They also have free breakfast and an attached restaraunt. I was not there in time for breakfast, but she gave me OJ and the place smelled great and looks clean. It is nothing fancy, but well worth the price.

This hotel is so outdated and short on amenities. No way would I stay here again. No blanket, short on towels, pillows were overstuffed and so on.

The building, location breakfast and staff were great.
We had some issues with the shower as you have to hold the shower head at all times and the check in time is not till 3pm, which was a bit inconvenient.

Very clean but a lot of people drinking and drunk. Not family friendly at all. Muy limpio pero mucha gente tomada y hasta en la piscina, no es para familias. Cero recomendado para ir con familias. Mucha gente borra ha u en las noches también, con mucha bulla

Located on the waterfront in downtown Puntarena, this is a good hotel if you have a good room . If you can, definitely try to book a room with a veranda facing the water. They're bigger, the views are amazing, and at night if it's stormy you can fall asleep to the sound of falling rain. The hotel staff (reception and restaurant) are friendly and try to be helpful. 3 suggestions for the owners/managers. Please install shower curtains next to the bathtubs -- it's hard to use your hand-held shower without getting water on the bathroom floor. Also please take a second look at the very long list of conditions that your incoming guests must sign -- the list can almost seem hectoring instead of welcoming. Also, a safe or strongbox would be nice Finally an observation about your breakfast. In addition to the friendly staff, your coffee and fresh fruit -- especially the papaya -- are delicious.

The best compliment you can give is an honest comment I found the stuff to be warm and welcoming my only disappointment was the Deco was a little bit dated
But found our room to be clean and fresh.
By accident I left my phone at the hotel about an hour later I realized that I had lost my phone to be fair I thought I lost the phone somewhere else but my girlfriend contacted the hotel to see if my phone has been found they confirmed that they had the phone.
I want put to bed a myth about the breakfast at the hotel, it definitely a good flavor Pinto but the eggs were cold but all around a decent breakfast served with fruits definitely better than average.
Honesty and integrity can definitely be found at this hotel I recommend
