Hotel Centre Point

The hotel is nicely made with a lot of woodwork being used. Sadly the ergonomics is totally off. The room layout is odd with a door separation between two rooms. The noise levels as a result are extremely high. Couldn't sleep a wink due to noisy neighbours. In the peak of winter, hot water was unavailable in taps. The response from the reception for any issue takes atleast 20 minutes to address. Couldn't get a wifi password despite repeatedly asking.

Rooms are small and in cold winter a thin comforter provided not a cozy room in comparison to tariff hotel is in very very chaotic place and if any one want to relax he or she can not relax room is small also

overall decent hotel. deluxe rooms are quite good and food is nice. However the premium rooms are terrible. U pay more than the deluxe but the room has neither AC nor windows so u are supposed to stay in a closed box. This is quite ridiculous and defies any common sense and logic. Fortunately the front office staff was very helpful and coopeartive and they helped us move to other rooms. Ofcouse 4 of us had to shift out for the night to another hotel because delux rooms weere not available in adequate numbers to accompodate our entire group. it is a unnecessary pain point in an otherwise good hotel. Hope they fix it soon.

(This is my 5th stay) For my tour everytime I have stayed at Hotel Centre Point, and I were absolutely delighted with the warm and attentive staff. From the moment I arrived, their genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, always ready with a friendly smile and quick assistance. Whether it was the helpful front desk team, the housekeeping staff who kept my room immaculate, or the restaurant staff who catered to my dietary preferences, everyone was outstanding. It's rare to find such a dedicated and friendly staff. I can't thank them enough for making my trip truly memorable. I will always choose Hotel Centre Point everytime I come to Shillong! •A few names who make my heart smile• Front Desk : Pawan ***ages the Front Desk and is super helpful with two girls Safina and Iayoo. Restaurant : Joshi Ji the FnB ***ager is the sweetest person you will ever meet. He treats me no less than his daughter. His team includes Suresh,Bijay Thappa,Bidas and Ratan who is always smiling and serving tasty food. Their hospitality is impeccable! Bar : Herprit and Ben work at the Bar. Exceptional service and they have a striking appearance that could rival models. Love you Centre Point 💗

Bang in the middle of Shillong. Nicely maintained, good fooding arrangements. Cooperative, friendly staff. Surrounded by markets, food shacks, and honking traffic. Access to the hotel is difficult due to this traffic, and again this hustle and bustle is the USP of the hotel. Booked the special room overlooking the rotunda of Shillong city. Nice lively experience. The traffic and honking ceases after 10 pm or so and sleep is not an issue. My room cost me Rs 7500+ per night, which was a tad too high for a hotel of this category. Breakfast is monotonous and repetitive. Food items ordered through room service were very good. The Mixed Hakka Noodles were just perfect, and I went in for a repeat the next day. Shabby washroom, lacking proper ventilation. Prompt daily housekeeping. All in all a good stay, provided one can pay the high tariffs and is prepared to deal with traffic and associated noises till about midnight.

Stayed here for two nights and was very happy with the centrally based location and the warm hospitality of the staff. The reception staff aswell as the restaurant were extremely friendly and accommodating. Excellent breakfast spread and delicious dinners. Their Skye rooftop lounge has some amazing night views of the city . Absolutely recommended for families . We had booked two rooms and leaving Shillong with warm memories of a cool trip

I always feel happy with good food and good people around. Here i was served mouth watering food with smile especially dear Biren Joshi who made sure i feel another home. He always checks things are fine and always to help you in all possible ways a big applause for him for his behaviour which is a big plus to the hotel. I see him walking around greeting all the guests checking about food. The whole team is amazing so cheers for all of them.

Excellent location, room was good. There was a problem with hot water as only lukewarm water was available. After a couple of complaints, they did adjust the boiler to increase the temperature of the water. After that it was fine. No Wi-Fi , issue did not get resolved despite complaints. But since we were out for most part of the day, it did not matter much. Washroom needs a facelift and so does the restaurant. Breakfast spread was good though.
