I booked a room with 1 king bed for myself and my toddler to share. When I checked in, no one said anything about my room type. I unloaded my car using a luggage cart and tried to wheel both e the cart (which also had my toddler on it) and my mountain bike into the hotel and in the elevator and up to my room. It was not easy and took a lot of effort. When I got to my room, it had 2 queens. I went back to the check in counter and the person said ********** sold me a room they didn’t have and there was nothing they could do. They had little empathy and told me if I had booked directly with them that wouldn’t have happened. Being a holiday weekend, and considering how much effort it took to unload and get all my stuff to my room while managing a toddler by myself, I had little faith I would find something else with a king for a similar price so I felt defeated and like I was just out of luck I spent the night in the queen bed with my toddler and didn’t sleep at all. It was so uncomfortable. There was no space because I had to have pillows on one side of him, and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. I ended up leaving a day early because I couldn’t bare the thought of spending another sleepless uncomfortable night there. When I checked out they told me it was too late for a refund, so I paid for the night I didn’t stay. Very disappointed in the customer service about this issue and I won’t stay here again.
