Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!! 1 star because I can’t put less They put in the confirmation textually: ”It can be noisy because of the bars and nightclubs in the area” — it’s such an UNDERSTATEMENT! It’s not “noisy”, it’s literally impossible to sleep And it’s not because of the bars in the area, it’s because of the bar just under the rooms there is NO sound isolation for the bar nor the rooms AWFUL PLACE, I FEEL SCAMMED

Possible check-in was announced from 5pm. Reference was made to the Broremann Bar but it only opened from 6pm. At least there was a phone number on the door and the staff was on site quickly after a call. When booking through *******, it said "free breakfast". This was only negated when the hotel sent an email. The hotel WiFi was almost unusable. A TV was available, but no remote control. About the lack of possibility of using the TV was also only pointed out after the booking was made. If you want to sleep late, you should use hearing protection, as the location on the harbor and above the bar is definitely associated with business and street noise. Lots of hair in the shower from the previous tenant. Fungal infestation on the bathroom walls and on the shower curtain. Bad air in hallway, bathroom. Overall pretty worn facility. Only for emergency overnight stays, don't forget bath slippers.

Although the staff member that checked me in was very nice, helping me find a place to lock my bike on the property, the poor condition of the building and rooms was very concerning. A review in German on another website said there were bed bugs here at some point, and though my inspection didn’t reveal any, the grime under the bed and general condition and smell of the property did not provide any reassurance. Simple maintenance things like properly functioning faucet valves, paint touch ups and more thorough cleaning would help. I don’t recommend this place.

This hotel is in a great location- walking distance to port, restaurants/shops, etc. It is not a fancy hotel, as evidenced by the good price. It was clean, they changed our towels daily, and took out our trash. I know others complained of noise, but we did not experience that. Check-in was simple- how to enter the hotel and get our key was texted to me and it was super easy. It’s a small room with 2 twin beds, tv, 2 chairs, and a desk/table where I was able to work. There are plenty of outlets for charging electronics. You will need to bring your own hair dryer and shampoo/ conditioner. There is bar next door. We were happy with our stay, especially for the price!

Das übelste an Unterkunft was ich je erlebt hab: eingecheckt wird in einer Bar, was soweit ganz gut war, weil ich um 23:00 ankam. Danach ging es durch die Bar einen dunklen Flur einen engen Treppenaufgang hoch, man musste hier sehr aufpassen wo man entlang geht. Der Flur roch schon sehr modrig. Das Zimmer an sich war unterirdisch. Ich hab das Licht gesucht, welches nur teilweise funktionierte und dabei mit der Taschenlampe versehentlich unter das Bett geleuchtet, wegen der Steckdose - Fehler…. Staub und Dreck ohne Punkt und Komma. Die Steckdosen an der Wand alle schwarz. Das Fenster lies sich zwar öffnen war aber so defekt, dass es sich nicht mehr schließen lies. Es blieb drei Tage und Nächte einfach auf. Direkt vor dem Fenster scheint eine Bushaltestelle zu sein und Motorräder drehen hier auf. Die Musik der Bar darunter ist Ohrenbetäubend auch die Musik der Bars daneben bleibt einem nicht erspart. Nachts wurden ebenfalls irgendwelche Flaschencontainer geleert. Es waren drei sehr schlaflose Nächte gewesen. Und nun die Krönung das Bad: Schimmelparadies und zwar nicht nur etwas in den Fugen sondern auch der Duschvorhang war regelrecht mit Schimmel überseht. Das Wasser kam nur spärlich und das Bad auch nicht so wirklich sauber geputzt. Es roch alles sehr modrig. Nie wieder! Einzig gut die Lage könnte zum erreichen von den Sehenswürdigkeiten nicht besser sein!
