I called on a Thursday to find out if they had availability for Saturday as we were enjoying our week in Stowe, with the Rec Path, hiking, restaurants and breweries so much that we wanted to stay one more night from our week long stay 1/2 mile away. They were so nice to take us in even though they were closed! Our Motel room was more than adequate with a mini frig, microwave, cable internet - which came in fine, a desk, 2 full beds and a twin bed and AC & a ceiling fan. But the best part of staying here is your STEPS away from getting on the REC Path right by Bridge #6 and can leave your window open at night and listen to the West Branch River trickle by while you sleep.

Not my first choice but was in a clutch, bed was clean and had hot water, very simple otherwise.

The building is an old large house. It is dated and the rooms are small (we had a bathroom) but is clean and for a few days it was better than just okay. We didn't spend much time (other than to sleep, nap and shower) in the room. The wifi is non existent unless you walk down the hall toward the stairs to the lobby. The guy running the place is pleasant and courteous. There were bicycles to our disposal and we used them. Close to walk over to restaurants and get coffee. We enjoyed staying here even if it may sound like we did not. I'd come back in in the area.

We stayed in the motel building with our dog. The room was very clean, no frills, with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The room was spacious, the hosts very friendly and accommodating. The property is right on the Community Path, and an easy walk to many shops and dining places. There are picnic tables on the grounds as well.

Great price for a skiing weekend trip to Stowe. Very friendly hosts and they allowed us to check in early. Would definitely stay here again. Free parking lot in the back but it was pretty icy and could use salt and plowing.

The heat did not work. They accommodated us with a space heater, which was fine but not optimal. Needed some updates.

We didn’t end up staying. I wasn’t aware that the rooms didn’t have their own bathroom. It was dark and kind of creepy. The man at the front desk was a delight, very friendly.
