The unit we stsyed in was tastefully decorated, very quiet, with everything we needed supplied. I had plenty of information before we arrived including a cheerful phone call. Would highly recommend this motel.

Super Clean and tidy. Full kitchen facilities, could cook a great meal which was helpful to keep costs down. Comfy bed and bedding. Excellent shower pressure. Free wifi. Free laundry. Friendly and responsive service. Sunny patios. Cute sunny garden and playground. I saw some kids make friends with other kids in the motel on the playground which was awesome and adorable. Walking distance from takaka shops. Extremely easy check in.

The Motel was very central on the main street of Takaka . Very friendly staff & very accommodating of our needs . The room was very clean & had everything we needed, with outdoor area for eating & sitting . We would certainly return again when up that way

We slept in & left in a rush. Spilt about 20 grains of uncooked rice on the floor, he said there was rice all over the floor ☹️ Didn’t have time to do the dishes. And apparently we left a mess in g to he fridge & freezer. We stayed for 4 nights, were we not supposed to use the fridge ?? Place wasn’t that clean to start with, ****s everywhere.. etc etc Wouldn’t stay there again!

We had two nights at this motel, it was very clean and comfortable it was also nice having a kitchen area to cook meals. Living area the sofas were comfortable. Considering it is on the main road it was quiet

First time ever in Takaka and this place was pleasant. Dated and felt like I was staying at grandmas but thats not a bad thing. Spacious, clean, had everything we needed and Lex was very easy to deal with. He also upgraded us for free to a 2 bedroom unit instead of the studio unit which with 2 toddlers was a godsend!! Very close to town, a 2 minute bike ride down the road. Great central location to go on drives out to different beaches or the Anatoki Salmon farm, highly recommend this if you have kids. Free shed to keep the bikes in, free washing amenities which is great when you're constantly at the beach and bringing half of it back with you.

Not much to say. Good location, clean and spacious rooms and friendly service. There was even a playground in the back for kids. Jo was really accomadating and welcoming. We will definitely be back when we're back in Takaka.
