We stayed in a two bedroom beachside cottage and had the most wonderful time. The views are those of dreams and the accommodation had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly and the only shame was we had booked just two nights! Thank you.

Every detail for comfort and sensibility was accounted for in our suite. Fabulous ocean view. Walking the beach morning and evening was restorative and beautiful with surfers in the waves, children and dogs romping on the sand and for quiet moments, one could wander over to the tide pools that were full of life with sea urchins, mussels and other aquatic wonders. Truly an experience that was re-energizing, calming and exhilarating. It's so necessary for us all to seek out time with our natural world so we can revel in its beauty and magnificence and maybe...just maybe, activate our core to be more mindful of how we continue to harm all that surrounds us; from flora, fauna, waterways and oceans. There's just so much splendour that supports life as we have known it, and what a tragedy it would be to forever lose it. Pacific Sands Resort is the perfect place to discover wonderment and joy in life's simple, yet complex beauty

Our stay here was a dream. We loved our beachside suite, the view through the trees to be beach was idyllic, and the apar**ent was cosy and airy at the same time. The fireplace - on a chilly day - was very welcome and the beds so comfortable. Food from the beach shack in the morning was great - good coffee, smoothies and breakfast fare. Eating fish and chips in the evening around a fire pit with the sound of the ocean in the background was magic. The beach is literally steps away and made for long walks in all weathers. We enjoyed hiring bikes and taking the cycle path to Tofino, and treated ourselves to a wonderful massage at the resort. Can’t wait to come back 😀

We had a great trip, the room was great, very well equipped with all you need. Very clean and great view of the beach from the living room. Rented bikes, very handy, great food from the surf side grill. We didn’t need much but when we needed anything we got it

We first came to Tofino about 1987 and have been back at least 25 times. Our last visit in April this year. Almost exclusively we have stayed at Pacific Sands Resort and plan to continue with more of the same. Superb location on Cox Bay. Easy booking with direct line( not third party) to knowledgeable and friendly staff. On arrival reception is well complemented by excellent guest services and house keeping. Many different units which can suit different families and needs including pets. The property and units have expanded over time in a very tasteful and environmentally friendly fashion. Amenities include a Surfside Grill, Beach Shack for coffee, surf board rentals and more. We book a year in advance in order to get our favourite room with a view of Cox Bay !! love it. In summary Pacific Sands is the very best for accommodation in Tofino. I suggest getting on their mailing list for current info on Pacific Sands and Tofino.

Highly recommend. Fast check in at the front desk with staff that made sure all of our needs were being met throughout our stay via text. Arrived to our second floor room with a ocean view. The unit was in excellent condition with plenty of amenities, that our small 4 legged friend loved. Attention to cleanliness and upkeep was obvious. Towels, bedding, linen top notch. The resort was a dream with Cox Bay right at our doorstep. The beach walks, fire pits and sleeping with the fireplace on, door open, listening to the waves was spectacular. For strong perfect americanos, my thanks to the gals at the beach shack. We ate once at the Surfside Grill (no seating inside) but lots of casual firepit seating all around the restaurant. Had plans to rent e bikes on site, but didn't have enough time. We will def. be back to PSBR.

Pacific Sands always delivers. We are returning guests and have stayed in most of the different types of accommodations they provide. We have never been disappointed. Their customer service excels. Beachfront suites - best views, especially 2nd level, small but efficient kitchen, no dishwasher. Beach Houses - spacious, large kitchen and dining. washer and dryer, more private Lighthouse suites - suites in the front have better ocean views but they're all comfortable. If you're looking for a Tofino resort that is self contained, but with take out eating options, Pacific Sands is a great choice.

We had an incredible time at Pacific Sands. All of the staff were amazing. We adored the S'mores kits and the firepits every night. The warm showers after surfing were the BEST and the Easter Egg Hunt for the kids was a HIT! The rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Thank you Pacific Sands - We will be back.

location location location - there could not be a better beachfront location for a resort. We loved having immediate access to the jaw dropping beaches and ocean views of cox bay. Loved the fire pits, covered and uncovered. Loved the comfy chairs to relax in a watch the waves and surfers. Loved having the grill and cafe on site. It was so convenient to stay cuddled up in our room and cozy at the resort and have access to great meals and coffee shop treats without driving. Our room was spacious. we stayed in a one bedroom ocean side suite. There was a indirect view to the beach. but still beautiful. The kitchenette was well appointed and I was impressed with the fable dishes (i want them in my kitchen ha). The rain jackets provided in room were perfect for stormy days. I slept on the pullout couch and it was surprisingly comfy even if a bit creaky (not particularly an issue ha). One tip is to walk up the beach to visit "Off Grind Camper Cafe" at surfgrove for a unique solar powered hand pressed coffee. a very unique experience!
