ガンジス川沿いに立地しており、リキシャやタクシーが通れる道に沿いに立地しています！内装も素晴らしいです！併設のレストランからもガンジス川がみれます。

Nothing good to write.the only good thing is this that the hotel is 2min walk from Assi ghat. No rooms have view(not an exaggeration! Literally there are walls in front). I had booked 2 heritage luxury (upper floor) room. So if you are assuming you will enjoy Ganga view from your room then this in not the place. Only if you go to roof and stand at a particular corner, you can see Ganges. The staff is so unfriendly that on second day we dint even expect ask for any kinda help or support. The room is untidy considering the premium price we are paying. I suggest guest to opt for good hotels city side (almost half the cost) and then come to Ghat in car because you are probably going to Ghat for Ganga aarti and spend most of the day time to visit temples.

Since I had seen on the internet that the hotel also offers windowless rooms in the basement, I had booked a double room on the upper floors. I was given a windowless, stuffy room on the upper floor, right behind the reception. After an almost sleepless night, I changed the hotel without being refunded the 4 other nights I had booked. An absolute failure of a hotel.

Had a lovely meal at the rooftop restaurant at Palace on the Ganges . Binod our waiter was so friendly ***aged to anticipate our every need! Live music was really fun and staff and were fantastic. Food was great and a good price. I would visit again purely because of Binod ! Thank you

We only visited their restaurant which has a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff is superfriendly and everything we ordered was tasty. A really nice place to have a rest. The hotel is looking nice too.

1 rooms are stinking badly . There is no ventilation Reception staff is very rude . Their website is misleading. They are telling us for lower floor .. which is basement . It is stinking like public toilet The staff is not ready to cooperate. In the name of hertiage building they are proving us stinking rooms

Vinod was very hospitable. We had malai kofta and aloo jeera. The prices were only slightly more than average, but it is a beautiful property with a gorgeous view. There was also live music. We were sat immediately and all staff were attentive and professional. Thanks Vinod for your wonderful service.

Nice hotel. Nice staff. Nice room. Clean room. Ok food; breakfast buffet is extremely limited. If you want anything other than a traditional Indian breakfast your options are toast or toast. No eggs or anything else that resembles western food. But despite all of this …. This hotel is TOO LOUD TOO LOUD TOO LOUD!!! Located near the Ganges in a busy area - the car horns, dogs barking, and religious chanting literally NEVER stops.

My wife and I ( both +60 ) from Kolkata were at PoG from 27th Dec 2023 evening till the 31st evening. PoG is less than 5 minutes walk from Assi Ghat where a lot of activity takes place from 5.30 in the morning; Ganga Aarti, Classical music followed by yoga. The ambience, location, room, house keeping, dining were par excellence. Moreover, the staff ( of any level ) whom we interacted with were extremely courteous, helpful, efficient and always with a smiling face. The buffet breakfast had a very wide spread while the quality / quantity for lunch/dinner/ was tasty, sufficient and priced very reasonably. It is also recommended that the legend/history behind PoG and the contribution of its founders towards society be explored and appreciated. We take pride.
