We had a lovely dinner for my sons confirmation celebration in The Tower Hotel. They food was fabulous, the staff were so friendly and helpful and my son was not charged for his dinner. He also received a gift of a day in the leisure centre for the family. A lovely experience all round

The hotel itself is lovely and the rooms are clean and spacious, however the food in the restaurant is overpriced for what it is! Nothing special about it for the food to be priced as such! The breakfast included in the price isn’t much better either. Considering the price you pay to stay there the breakfast is cheap ingredients in comparison to other hotels nearby. There is a pool yes but no hot tub as advertised! The bar staff look underage and the ones that look the right age are miserable and rude.

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful hotel, from the minute we arrived the atmosphere was welcoming, we had the king deluxe room very spacious, comfortable, relaxed over looking the river, the breakfast and evening meal in the lovely Hobson restaurant was very enjoyable and great variety, the staff were very friendly and helpful.. I would highly recommend this fabulous hotel and look forward to returning….

A great stay had again this weekend, Had a lovely meal in the bar with the ever helpful Debbie.. huge bedroom that fitted all the family, the kids even had enough room to wrestle one another haha.. Caroline on the desk keeps the place ticking over while keeping that smile going all day, with always a kind word or a piece of local advice, great country hotel, see you again soon.

My wife and i have stayed here several times I have to say it’s one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at you are treated like royalty the minute you enter front of house the lovely Caroline looks after your every needs and is so pleasant and friendly The bar area is fantastic the service is second to none this is all down to brilliant Debbie and Keith the just have a way of making you feel so welcome everything about this hotel is wonderful I have no problem recommending it to anybody Michael Bagnall

Just back from a three night stay , excellent value for money with a good breakfast buffet, which is served in the dining room over looking the quay.The hotel room we stayed in was a King they were very large , with a big balcony and a lovely view of the marina.The bed was the comfiest bed we have ever had in a hotel. The staff were lovely , so helpful and always had a hello. The hotel is very central and near a lovely area of the city. Boat tours leave from outside the hotel , bus station close by , pubs restraunts close by and waterford crystal , the opera house and museums all within a very short walking distance ,definatly would visit again.

We really enjoyed our second stay at the Tower. It’s close to everything, only a couple of minutes walk to the shopping centre and tourist areas. The food in the bar has been lovely on both visits with a menu that will suit everyone. Breakfast was served in the restaurant with a gorgeous view of the water and the food was perfect, plenty options. The staff throughout are very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely visit again.
