Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Waterloo, IA

Went there to have a relaxing night after a rough work week. Ended up not even using jacuzzi tub as it was very dirty with hair and other things and jets wouldnt turn on. Kids running in the hall loundly all night and morning as well.

Hard time checking in - front desk guy said he didn’t have access to check us in and had to text manager . Went with family- other family room didn’t get the room they were booked because rooms weren’t clean. Pool - had way too much chlorine/ chemicals - dozen kids coughing nonstop Also had someone trying to unlock our door at 130 in the morning

This hotel was extremely clean! Great breakfast with a separate eating area with plenty of seating. Numerous choices, and snacks that you could take with for later. The staff were extremely helpful and wanted your stay to be good!

I had stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Clive, Iowa for my son's wedding. I got the jacuzzi suite with a very comfortable king sized bed and it was wonderful. So when my daughter came home to visit, I booked us both separate jacuzzi suites here at our local Country Inn and Suites. I sleep with the TV on and she doesn't, that's why separate rooms. Check in was pleasant and the attendant was very nice. Our rooms were on separate floors which was fine. I took 1st floor she took 3rd floor. Rooms were recently renovated and comfortable, tubs and bathroom were clean. The beds were not the same as the Clive location. Super firm, not comfortable for either of us. But the deal breaker for me was the noise and partying that went on directly above me. Jumping around, sliding furniture and loud music kept me awake all night. No one could sleep thru all that. My daughter on the 3rd floor heard the partying as well in her room. Even the TV couldn't drown out the noise. Many people staying complained and eventually the offending party was kicked out according to check out staff. We tried to tough it out but ended up checking out early so we could go home and get some sleep. Considering the cost of these rooms and the high hopes I had for my local Country Inn and Suites I was really disappointed. Check out staff was nice and said she would try to get some money taken off for the inconvenience and would call later that day. It's Monday and so far no call.

Staff and service was awesome! The woman at the front desk (I think her name was Jackie) was super helpful and even called our room after checking in to make sure everything was in order. The property condition and facility is in pretty good shape, but the area around it needs a little work. Overall, a good experience - would recommend if staying in Waterloo, IA!

The room was clean and well set up. The desk staff and kitchen staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Didn't use the pool. The parking lot was in pretty awful shape. Lots of potholes and bad spots we had to drive through to get to the front door. Seemed strange to only have one access point for the parking lot. The signage about where to access the driveway was poor, we went by the first time and had to drive a ways to turn around.

The rooms were nice sized and clean! It had every convenience I needed. The hotel was quiet. Breakfast was good. Nice variety of food options. Staff was extremely nice, pleasant, and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

No clean towels in our room. They did not have clean bedding for hideaway bed. Room had an awful smell, windows where nailed shut so unable to get fresh air. There was a hole in our floor by the air conditioner. Employees seemed like they where doing the best they could with poor upper management. Hallway floors where very dirty. Beds where become uncomfortable. Bedskirt one one bed had a chunky substance that appeared to be vomit. All of the countertops throughout room did not look wiped down. I was told housekeeping quit or got arrested our check in day so I’m not even sure our room was actually cleaned.

I have stayed here for years. Conveniently located. Clean and comfortable
