It's conveniently close to the DCU Center, and the lobby is beautiful. The staff is very helpful and attentive.
I required a handicap accessible room, which unfortunately had some issues. The bathroom floor was gross. There was mold in the grout and the floor was dangerously slippery, even when dry.
The curtains had what looked like a blood stain on them, but worst was that the button to open the door from the outside didn't work. And there was no way to open the door in a wheelchair from inside because of the location of the closet. The configuration of the room with the closet from the front door was angled in such a way that it was very difficult to navigate in and out of the room and the bathroom. And if I had been traveling alone, I would not have been able to get in or out of the room on my own. (Housekeeping did offer to help me at one point from down the hall, which was very sweet.)
The microwave turntable didn't work, and burned my food, and there was a weird loud vibrating sound on the entire building every few seconds that happened our entire stay. It may have been the heating system; I'm not sure, but it was super annoying.
Overall, we probably will stay there again, just for the proximity to the DCU Center. But it is overpriced for the quality of the room.
