I was on my way to Winnipeg as my granny had a heartache. I was in a minor accident so I stopped in Yorkton for the night as I needed a time out from driving. I told the person at front desk I needed a room where I could actually sleep due to stress of grandmother and now my car needing repairs. I explained I needed a "time-out so pls put me somewhere quiet. Unfortunately, they put me in a room right beside the elevator so I got to listen to ppl coming and going all night long. The one room beside as elevator was on other, played his tv really loud til late and was at it again at 7 am. On top of that, there was something wrong with the heater and it rattled all.night.long. You know when you're sooo tired that you know anything you say could come out in an angry way, that was me so I didn't have it in me to request a move or complain. The room was perfect itself but I just don't think it was worth $194 a night, especially when I barely slept and thats ALL I wanted to do, sleep the horrible day away to start a new the following day. Didn't happen. I had to drink energy drinks which are bad for me so that I could stay awake for final leg of trip. $194 should have gotten me a solid, GREAT night's sleep. Sadly, not here
