I highly recommend visiting Stonestown as it feels like the melting pot of the world. To me the architecture feels like Venice mixed with Africa and the Middle East. When traveling to more unknown parts of the world- safety is paramount to any luxury traveling experience. Despite its bustling location, it feels incredibly safe and tranquil within the immaculately curated ground of the hotel. The hotel almost feels like a museum. The Park Hyatt is incredibly well located at the tip of stonestown. Rooms with water views are well appointed have expansive views of the harbor and have great lighting. Given the historic and almost boutique nature of the hotel (<70 rooms) the service is personalized but not overbearing. The staff is attentive to detail and addresses you by name. This location lives up to the Park Hyatt brand. I highly recommend this hotel and please spend time by the pool, taking in the view and leave ample time for the complimentary breakfast as it is quite lovely with an exotic selection of fruits, Al la carte items and bespoke items to the region. Employees are all well trained, happy to help, and not pushy to upsell (which I really appreciate). Even the security guards were friendly and willing to cater to our every need. Tip: ask for a room with a water view
