This was literally the worst hotel stay I have had in my life. First, our door DIDNT LOCK. They came to check on it (after waiting for 45 minutes) and couldn’t fix it, so we had to sleep with the little door stopper and that was all. Secondly, the hot water wasn’t working. Now, I would think a hotel I paid over $200 a night for would have basic amenities like hot water and locking doors, but apparently not here. Third, it’s February and they decided to shut down the indoor pool for renovation. This seems counterproductive when it’s cold outside and guests can’t use the outdoor pool when it’s 50-65 degrees. I had two small children who were very disappointed. Lastly, I called room service 15-ish times with no answer and eventually sent my husband down to order food. I got 9 shrimp and 5 soup dumplings for a whopping $40. Such a great deal. At checkout when I told them all of this, they gave me a $50 discount. That is absolutely ridiculous.
I shouldn’t have to even pay for the stay when I didn’t even receive basic services like a functioning room with a locking door and hot water.
Highly recommend this hotel is you want have a terrible experience and virtually no customer service.
