I have to start this review by saying thank you for all the lovely employee's all over Switzerland, that welcomed us with a smile and professionalism, we do appreciate it. Let's start with the hotel, we actually stayed the first night of our 3 nights in Zurich at another hotel, which we did not like, and decided to come to book the Mandarin, and we're glad we did, we even postponed our flight for one more night. Again, very welcoming staff, lovely rooms and suite's. Had a nice lunch at the restaurant. The location is superb.

The hotel has a cosy atmosphere. We visited the brasserie for a casual dine in, and the services was excellent. Food was very good, and we felt relaxed. It was good to see a bit of asian decor and luxury with the Mandarin Oriental fan in the lobby.

Just back from a two night stay at this lovely hotel. Every single member of staff was a total professional. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all friendly, helpful and a credit to the team. Our room and bed were very comfortable with everything we could possibly need. I loved staying here and would recommend unreservedly. Ty guys.

I was a little anxious staying in a hotel that had just re-opened after such a long period of renovations, however the stay could not have been more pleasant. Rooms were crisp and new, the mattresses and pillows were comfortable and the staff went above and beyond in making our stay truly memorable. Sami and Fabio at the concierge desk were outstanding and helped us with all transport and dining arrangements. Breakfast and in-room dining were served promptly and were delicious. We look forward to our next stay.

As a Fan of MO I made a quick visit to the MO Lounge to try their Club Sandwich. Well prepared, just as you hope it would be. We also tried the tatar sliders, which were delicious. Stylish interior anywhere you go. Haven't seen the rooms yet, hope to stay one day. Next MO will be my home away from home in Singapore next month.

This hotel does not yet understand who they are or what they seek to do. The staff needs training, and the management needs to remember that the brand carries certain values. In short, the staff isn’t trained on how to interact with clients, in room dining is non existent during off hours (answering machine with no call back 😂) and construction around the hotel. While this property tries to understand who they are, go somewhere else, like Baur au Lac. Whether it’s your first time or you are a regular, you will be greeted with warmth, professionalism and genuine standard of service. Usually these are qualities that are used to describe Mandarin Hotels, but they are non existent at the Zurich property. I can only wish the GM, Mr Bradford, good luck. But as a client who has a choice, I would not return here again.
